Chip, the Co-founder and President of iServ since its establishment in 2019, discovered his passion for BBQ and people as the Pitmaster of the very first Sonny’s BBQ franchise. Guided by the providence of God, and supported by his wife and partner, Tami, Chip embarked on a lifelong journey in the hospitality industry with the goal of leading a company that honors both God and people.

From 1981 to 2018, Chip’s career unfolded through various roles such as General Manager, Area Director, Director of Operations, Operating Partner, and ultimately Chief Operating Officer of BBQ Management.  Alongside partners John and Ken Kirkpatrick, Chip owned and operated 26 Sonny’s franchises in Northeast and Central Florida.  Additionally, Chip and Tami ventured into owning and operating their own seafood brand and catering company.

Born in Ocala, Chip attended the College of Central Florida.  Beyond his professional pursuits, he actively serves in various roles within his church and community.  Chip and Tami are proud parents of three children-Reagan, Trey and Kyle-and have been blessed with nine wonderful grandchildren.
